About You
It was a really interactive way to join a big 4 accountancy firm and be in a practical work environment.
The selectivity of the internship made us feel valued as successful employees and really was given a lot of attention by employees.
The human resources division provided a load of learning resources and was a port of call to all our needs.
The group exercises and presentation exercises are so useful in all situations in the future for all types of employment.
The Company
It was really well planned with a schedule given at the beginning to us which followed seamlessly.
It was a unique environment both mixing the social and working environment well and almost learning a lot from peers around
Lots of learning resources were provided at the beginning and built up through presentations from high up senior management.
The business-speaker series really gave me an insight into the broad roles in the accountancy company.
Culture was discussed highly amongst the talks and the resonating flat structure was described.
It was a great learning curve to develop both personal aspects and also my future career prospect.
Everything Else
it was unpaid
Both informal and formal environments where we were able to network effectively in a relaxed and professional environment.
I think that in these situations it was difficult to mix sometimes due to few employees and a large number students but as there were a few we got a lot of exposure to employees.
Yes, there's a number of societies and weekly sport events varying depending on division based in.
Any experience is good experience, and this really provided the opportunity to learn a lot more of practical things I learnt in my degree
