About You
I was a great scheme, well organised and obviously a lot of thought had been put into how to organise the short time we had at the firm.
Everyone was keen to be friendly and there was no feeling at all that we were a burden, even when we were work shadowing very busy trainees!
The Graduate Recruitment Team were constantly on hand and when we were work shadowing, the trainees were only too happy to explain the work and took the time to have a coffee with us for us to ask any questions.
The Personal Branding session was very useful and will definitely assist in obtaining employment and vacation schemes.
The Company
Excellent. The days were full of different sessions and we even had a quiz on the first evening in the auditorium.
The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was put at ease.
Personal Branding exercise was excellent and very useful. The training and development of trainees through the Linklaters Law and Business school sounds very promising.
The firm were very thorough in affording us a good understanding of trainee life and the trainees were willing to answer any questions.
A lot - a partner gave a presentation on the ethos and work of Linklaters.
Very valuable - will definitely apply to the firm.
Everything Else
Linklaters also offered a free hotel room near the office which was very useful for those travelling from further away.
Yes, we had a speed networking session with trainees! When work shadowing, we had the opportunity to meet trainee supervisors and many of the partners involved in graduate recruitment stopped by to meet us.
Great, the quiz was fun and the programme was social in that it encouraged team work through challenges such as building marshmallow towers.
Yes, speaking to the many trainees I learned of sporting and pro bono activities on offer. For example, football, tennis and netball. There is also a gym within the office!
100% I really enjoyed the experience and would encourage others to apply next year.
