About You
The programme was a good insight into working at PricewaterhouseCoopers. The programme was filled with activities and social events and was very enjoyable.
The programme was held off-sight, but all PwC staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming and always on hand if one were to require any assistance.
As stated above, staff were always on hand, if assistance was required. Group and individual feedback was provided for the activities we participated in.
No degree specific skills were gained, but teamwork and interpersonal skills were developed (valuable in life).
The Company
Very well structured. Ran according to schedule.
As stated, staff were really friendly. The other interns were also friendly, there was no competition as such, and I got to meet a diverse group of students and make some new friends.
Huge investment by the company. The event was completely free and we received lots of free stuff!
Although not held on sight, I was able to gain a good insight into PwC's unique culture, and what working with them would be like (through lectures and talking to staff).
As stated above, I gained a good insight into PwC's culture. However, going on sight may have given me a better feel for it.
The content was very useful: we were taught about PwC's different "service lines" and how they fit into the company, as well as learning about the firm's unique culture.
Everything Else
Free drinks, food and other stuff were provided by PwC.
There were a lot of opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company, especially in the social events in the evening.
Very enjoyable. However some people were already tired at the end of an action-packed day, so may have been too much.
Yes, in particular, sports and charity work.
Yes, 100%: it was very enjoyable and I learned a lot about PwC and the professional services industry in general.
