About You
I really enjoyed the insight; it was much better than expected and was highly engaging. The worshops were especially good.
I felt very valued during this experience. No ask was too big. They went every extra step for us.
Very good guidance. The exercises were very well run, with a member of staff present at all times to help answer any questions and offer support if stuck.
This workshop helped with my confidence and listening skills. Most importantly it helped me with my debating skills in the workshops. All these will be useful in my degree and for my CV.
The Company
We were given a timetable at the beginning of the insight; this was followed by the minute.
Very positive. The staff were all very encouraging and my fellow students were all very positive.
The company invested time in my training and development in the form of shadowing an intern. This was very useful and helped me see what skills I would us ein the job.
The shadowing was particularly useful in understanding what it would be like in a full time role. He was very honest and it was a way to see the negatives which may have been slightly scraped over in the presentations.
I was able to see to an extent the culture of the company by meeting employees.
Very helpful. As a non-law student I am indecisive as to the career path I want to take and to whether law would be for me. This experience definitely helped me see what a career in law would entail and has helped me to narrow my choices.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for my travel.
Yes, both in the evening (up the shard) and when shadowing the intern.
They were good however I felt like the evening event was more a social event than a networking one.
Did not find out any information on this.
Absolutely. Was a very valuable experience.
