About You
An extremely interesting and busy 2 weeks
Even Managing Directors and Partners took the time to answer our questions and present to us. Really felt like they wanted to be there and get to know us.
Was given a buddy to communicate with which was really helpful. Was also provided with plenty of prior information
Learnt a lot of key valuation, accounting, networking and presentation skills.
The Company
Every day was set out down to the minute.
Hardworking but everyone was easygoing and helpful
We even had external vendor led training for accounting and valuation skills
Although we had many conversations with the employees we were not able to see first hand
Best way to get to understand the culture is being there and talking with all the employees
Further strengthened my desire to pursue this field
Everything Else
Paid for the 2 weeks, reimbursed travel expenses and for those who needed, accomodation was provided.
Many networking opportunities for meeting the employees as well as fellow interns.
A great variety from breakfasts to lunches to careers fairs.
Specific talks on corporate engagement, volunteering and the affinity networks
If you want to go into investment banking or get a better idea of the sector I would definitely recommend the GS spring programme.
