The Role
I had such a brilliant year and learnt so much about a career in marketing and about myself.
Everyone was really helpful and valued my input as much as anyone elses.
I had weekly meeting with my manager and bi-weekly meetings with my team. I also had a mentor and a buddy.
My work load was constant and at times was challenging, but so rewarding.
I had my own budget to manage and programmes to run. I was also allowed to use my initiative in many situations to improve my performance
I learnt so much practical information that has already been far more useful that my 2 years at university put together. I also have a dissertation topic ready that I know inside out and I'm passionate about.
The Company
The office was fantastic and my department was really brightly colloured with music always playing and new technologies floating around for you tp play with.
The HR team were really helpful with any matters and other interns helped to organise a fantastic year for us.
I was allowed to attend numerous courses and meetings to further my learning.

I already have an interview lined up for the grad scheme.
The Culture
With 96 interns there was always something going on and the funded intern parties were amazing.
If you know what bars to head to Reading can be a really good night out.
In the city centre the bars were usually busy all week.
The internal citizenship team were fantastic and the sports and social opportunities were always great.
