About You
Very enjoyable day, friendly and welcoming environment, interesting activities, and well structured.
Helped to inform career choice in terms of the type of firm which I would wish to pursue a career at.
The Company
Good use of a limited amount of time, right balance in terms of the variety of activities/ presentations, whilst at the same time not packing too much into the day that there is insufficient time to properly engage with each of the activities/ presentations.
Very good, trainees, partners, HR Staff all very accommodating, and atmosphere was fairly friendly and relaxed.
Some insight into the role of a trainee at the firm, through chance to speak and engage with some of the trainees. However limited amount of time meant it was hard to build up a concrete picture of exactly what its like to work at the firm.
Trainees and partners I spoke to certainty projected a positive image of the collegiate and global culture on offer at the firm.
Established a better understanding of the type of firm I wish to work for in terms of size, culture and ambition.
Everything Else
Although still awaiting reimbursement.
Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and network with a range of lawyers across the firm, including partners as well as trainees.
Very good, relaxed and fairly informal environment, making it easy to ask questions.
Lots of social, sporting and pro bono opportunities.
