I thoroughly enjoyed the two days I spent at Deloitte on the spring insight course. Activities during both days were of great benefit, with the evening meal even offering chances to network and find out more about this company.

Having to complete many tasks during the application stages and having find out how difficult it was to get onto such an insight day at this, I felt the company made me feel very valued as a result of this and also in their caring and professional manner during the two days.

I felt the guidance and support we were given was fantastic, with Deloitte offering us all the information we needed to progress further in their company, but at the same time providing us with the opportunity to learn new skills beneficial for whatever career path we may choose. All questions were answered too.

As mentioned previously, the skills offered to us on the insight days will be transferable to every aspect of life. For example we learnt key skills regarding interviews and body language which will be useful for almost everything we encounter career and degree wise.

We were provided with an itinerary of what was going to take place both days and that was followed carefully to make sure we could fit everything in.

I felt I made some friends for life at this course as the atmosphere allowed for work and learning but also the opportunity to talk to new people and get to know them well.

The company invested key information regarding progressing further in the company, offering an insight to the interview process but also what the company does for employees and for the wider world.

I learnt what each service within the company does and aims to achieve and spoke to various employees of the company and found out about their personal experiences working with the company.

Speaking to people who worked at Deloitte and holding the day in one of their offices gave a feel for what the company is all about.

We were given talks one each service area in the company which allowed us to see what career path would be suited to our individual interests.

The company paid for all reasonable travel expenses and for our overnight stay and meal in a hotel

Throughout both days we met with various different people from different departments and particularly at the evening meal we were seated with people who worked with the firm and were provided with the opportunity to ask whatever questions we wanted in a more relaxed atmosphere.

I really enjoyed them and felt well catered for.

Having spoke to people who works with the firm, I found out about their interests and also the social activities the company offers too.

I loved both days and have already recommended this insight to many friends
