The Role
You are given immediate responsibility and feel valued by your work colleagues. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, making you feel part of the team.
I was made to feel valued by my colleagues and part of the team.
You are given help to set clear objectives at the start of your internship and you are given useful feedback at the end. The management are very approachable and supportive.
I always had interesting work to do, but I was given support, so that I didn't feel overwhelmed.
I was given immediate responsibility; I completed sections of the file by myself and I was able to talk to clients.
I was given excellent training on a presentation skills course, attended by all interns, at the national training centre Bradenham Manor. The analytical skills I gained through the work will benefit me in my last year at university.
The Company
Everyone seemed to enjoy their job and there was a good atmosphere in the firm. A lot of banter between the boys especially about football! I hope you're into it!
My work placement was very well organised, I had a well planned agenda set out. I believe I managed to spend enough time on the job to gain a fair amount of experiance.
The company provided alot of training, through the presentation skills course and in house training. Also quite a few online courses to do. These have short multiple choice questions at the end.
I have been offered and I have accepted a graduate job with GT.
The Culture
The office has a monthly social event and many people go out for lunch on a friday. This kept the team close.
Birmingham is a relatively cheap place to live. Try to flatshare to save more money!
Very good, from what I've heard - but im not a clubbing person!
You are included in events run by the firm, such as social events and sports competitions.
