  • I had a great time and met lots of people.

  • There could have been more work shadowing/talking to people individually.

  • There was lots of guidance and support.

  • There could have been much more technical knowledge given - some presentations were mildly patronizing.

  • There were no problems with the organisation.

  • I think the atmosphere was good and this was mostly down to the people that were there and that worked at Barclays.

  • They did a good job of making sure we got to visit places of interest to us.

  • There was very little time spent work shadowing compared to other spring weeks.

  • They talked a lot about the culture but I felt we didn't really get to witness it.

  • It confirmed what I already thought.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • We were given £200 to cover expenses but most people only needed £50 or so.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There was one drinks evening networking with company professionals which was great but not really apart from that.

  • The drinks on the first night in the Attic Bar were very enjoyable.

  • Not really.

  • Yes I think it would be beneficial and it leads to an automatic fast track to the summer internship interview.
