  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • An informative experience overall. With challenging exercises and case studies to apply what we learnt.

    • Very friendly and welcoming. Always able to ask questions about their different sectors.

    • Excellent information about the career and also about finance in general. Presentations skills and working in a team were two skills that were targeted greatly and this will help in the future.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Mainly stuck to the itinerary that was provided, the layout and structure of the sessions was beneficial as presentations would be given to broaden our knowledge and then tasks set to test ourselves.

    • Everyone there were friendly, from the other interns to the senior managers

    • Good number of sessions to train us

    • Great presentations giving us an insight. This was furthered by shadowing of sectors of our interest which were very helpful.

    • Reimbursed for travel plus 250 for living expenses

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • 2 networking evenings and in all the sessions we were able to meet and question all Barclay's employees
