About You
It was a busy week packed with lots of information and interesting tasks to do
I felt as though they really appreciated the fact that we were there, and our thoughts mattered
Everyone was keen to answer all out questions and made sure that we knew exactly what we were doing
This will definitely help me after university as I now have real experience working in the banking industry. I know know what to expect.
The Company
They touched upon every aspect of the bank
Kept us busy throughout the week, was really exciting!
We had a commercial awareness training session,a presentation skills session and many teamwork tasks. The company did lots of things that contributed to our personal development.
We learnt all about Barclays' values and met many people who work there, from managing directors to recent graduates. They all helped put into perspective what a Barclays career would entail.
As above, Barclays' five values were discussed everyday.
I learnt about every division in great detail which allowed me to pick and choose the one that I thought I would enjoy the most and that I have the best skills for.
Everything Else
£250
We had speed networking sessions and also an evening networking event, both of which were incredibly helpful.
Having the opportunity to talk with such senior members of the team such as managing directors was a real privilege.
I didn't really talk about this with anyone.
I can't think of anything negative to say about the insight week.
