The Role
I am really enjoying my placement at L'Oreal, I can't believe how fast it's going!
Very, I have been made to feel like one of the team.
My manager has structured my placement really well, we always have weekly reviews and he always makes time for me if I have a question. He is very approachable and also gives me a lot of responsibility.
I'm always busy, but not often overwhelmed.
My manager gives me a lot of responsibility.
I feel I am learning very valuable skills.
The Company
The offices are quite lively, but still a good atmosphere to work in.
Very well organised by HR, and by my manager.
We only got a 1 day induction, rather than a full 3 day induction that full time staff get. Most of my training was on the job.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would really like to work for L'Oreal in the future.
The Culture
Yes - an intern committee.
Hammersmith is relatively cheap for London, but all in all London is expensive to socialise in.
Good bars.
None have really presented themselves, but we do have citizen day coming up.
