About You
It was one of the best weeks of my life
I feel I was really valued for who I was and what I could add within the organisation
I received a lot of guidance from both HR and my line manager
Even though I just spent there a single week I did learn some really interesting things on the Derivatives field, since I worked for the Credit Risk Team, who was in charge of the SPV, and I gained an insight of Fund Managers Regulation within England and Spain
The Company
I think the Insight was really well-structured. Not only I assisted to many intersting networking events and speeches, but had the opportunity to work hand-to-hand with a Analyst and some Line Managers. Some times I had to do challenging tasks which I enjoyed a lot, but some others some basic task, given my basic notions of the Industry. I feel it was really a thrilling experience
It was the best company I had ever had the opportunity to see closer before. It was a really thrilling and pushing company, however it was surrounded with a human environment
They invested lots of hours of line managers and buddies alongside with me. In addition, they paid me my travel expenses, as well as they provided me with the accomodation, which was really fancy.
It gave me a really good insight on how it was working full time for the firm
At the end of the Insight, I was completely sure to want to work for Citi, since I loved the company culture.
I am extremely convinced on making a career within the Financial Industry, if possible by Citi.
Everything Else
I was paid for all the expenses I had to take within the Program.
I have had the best oppotunities to meet with some of the brightests minds and most exciting people from all my life.
I assisted to many excellent networking events. The one I enjoyed the most was one we took in a Boat Cruise along the Thames, where we had the opportunity to talk to some Business people, they were all VP's, as well as to meet the rest of the people within our program.
Yes, I was told some Dinners that some people working for the firm did.
I would definetely recomend to my Uni friends to apply to such an event.
