The Role
Working at Enterprise Rent a Car has been excellent experiance. No two days have been the same and it has been a pleasure to work for the company.
Whilst on my placement, I have made some excellent friends in the work place and out of the workplace. There is a huge opportunity to meet new people every day.
Training has been excellent at Enterprise Rent a Car. The training folder covers all aspects of business from learning how to run a branch on a day to day basis to setting up new accounts and going out marketing and networking. Support has always been there for me when I needed it.
Most days throught the year have been very bus. There has not been many times when I have had nothing to be working on when the day is gets quite.
Right from the first day, you are given a hue amount of responsibility in the branch to help with the day to day running on the branch. As you progress through your training folder, it feels as though you are handed more responsibility as your knowledge about the company increases.
I believe the skills I have gained from this placement will benefit me for the rest of my life. It has changed my perception on the working world and how I now and will in the future approach my assignments.
The Company
Although depending onyour collegues at the branch and where you work, the atmosphere in the branch I worked has been fantastic! We work hard everyday and we still socalise and make the office a very enjoyable place to work
The internship has been excellently organised by the HR team of Enterprise Rent a Car. They have been in constant communication with my self and the university and the placement was set up with no hassle at all.
The firm has invested a lot of time and money into my personal development and training. This has been done by the training I recieve on a daily basis at the branch and also training days at the head office. They spend the time to help you improve every skill needed to run a business.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing! I have been offered a job to work part time whilst im on my final year at university and a job to work full time after university
The Culture
There was not too much of interaction outside the workplace with other placement students.
Within the area I live and work, the cost of living is faily low.
The night life has not been too bad. I worked in the same area I went to university, so not much of a difference.
There has not been too many outside activitys to get involved in. Its hard to find the time to attend any outside activitys if a few came availible.
