About You
Very enjoyable, if only it were longer.
We were treated very well and spent most of the time of the 42nd floor of HSBC's London HQ.
There were always multiple people available who could answer your questions
The Insight was very useful in the fact that it showed me other parts of the organisation that I hadn't perviously considered.
The Company
We were given a timetable at the start of the Insight, which was followed
Very relaxed and enjoyable, allowing you to form good relationships with the fellow students and business representatives.
We had a lot of contact time with business representatives.
Although their were no shadowing opportunities, because we were able to speak to so many employees we could get a good feel of what their job entailed.
It would have been good to spend more time actually in the offices but from what we saw of the people who we met, they were incredibly friendly and helpful.
We had presentations from most divisions, always with a lot of time for QnA.
Everything Else
I had my travel expenses covered and I believe accommodation was provided for those who needed it.
Plenty of opportunity, throughout the trade games, case studies, drinks session, leaving dinner and walking round the trade floor.
There were always a lot of representatives and the dinner allowed you to spend a prolonged period of time sitting next to and talking to senior people.
The corporate and social responsibilities of HSBC were made very clear and the social side for employees outside of work was also highlighted.
It is very enjoyable and not too stressed.
