    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really liked the Open Day - I found it interesting, helpful and pleasant. It enabled me to meet trainees and partners, to understand the working atmosphere of the Firm and to obtain answers to all the questions that I had about Baker & McKenzie.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt much attention and I noticed that all the partners, trainees and graduate recruitment professionals who I met during the Open Day really cared about the impression of the Firm they would create. This was really pleasant and appealing to me.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • 5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The Open Day provided me with a very good understanding of what Baker & McKenzie expects from its trainees and future solicitors. Furthermore, it enabled me to start looking differently at the whole process of submitting applications and attending assessment centres. I am very thankful to the Firm's graduate recruitment team for organising this event and, especially, for helping us to develop our skills by holding the mock group exercises.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The whole event went very well. Nevertheless, I believe that it would have been more comfortable for the attendees if the application workshop and the Q&A session had been scheduled closer to the start of the event, as opposed to the last part of the Open Day.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I liked the Open Day very much and truly enjoyed the friendly environment and pleasant communication with the members of the Firm as well as with other attendees. The whole event was quite informal and I believe that there was created an atmosphere of a warm friendly meeting, which enabled everyone feel at one's easy. People were so relaxed and felt so comfortable that even during the group exercises nobody tried to compete with each other - the discussion was very comfortable and pleasant.
