  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I particularly enjoyed the practical exercises.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Each trainee, associate and partner I talked to was fully prepared to answer my questions and interested in any opinions I offered.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • During the practical exercises help was given only if a stalemate was reached. This was very useful as we were left to follow our own paths and develop our logical thought patterns.

    • The information on the interview process and the areas of law available was very helpful, as was information on the countries to which secondments were offered.

    • The timetable given was very structured and a lot of useful talks were fitted into one day.

    • Each person was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very focused.

    • The company were very invested in me and illustrating what they could offer.

    • We got the chance to talk to a large number of trainees, associates and partners which truly gave a broad insight.

    • Very much so, with a range of cultures and ages ready to answer every question.

    • Extremely valuable, and helpful in confirming my choice of career path.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were multiple opportunities, and it was nice not to have these restricted solely to lunch.

    • The entire day offered endless opportunites with many friendly faces.

    • There was a talk on this towards the end of the day, and I talked to an associate about the same.
