About You
The event consisted of multiple presentations about the firm (most of which were very educative and quite enjoyable) and a coding competition, which was also quite fun!
The staff at J.P Morgan do their best to make the visitor-students feel as comfortable and familiar with the company as possible, and they do a very good job at that!
The staff of the company was always there for our support and they would be very helpful and polite when requested for help.
The Spring Week in Technology at J.P. Morgan gave me some insight on where my programming weaknesses lie (since the developers who run the contest are kind enough to review your code and provide feedback), and since then I have consistently worked on improving in those areas.
The Company
The whole event was very well-organised from multiple points (space for networking, time-efficiency etc.); the only improvement I would suggest would be to either increase the amount of food or the variety of food provided during the breaks.
I had a chance to meet a lot of new interesting people (not only from the Technology department), gain an understanding of how the company operates from the inside and overall have a very enjoyable and productive week! I would suggest it to anyone interested (even a bit) to financial programming or banking.
