The Role
I absolutely loved the internship! It was busy but very fulfilling at the same time!
I felt that my colleagues made me feel valued especially while working in a team on audits. All the graduates were so helpful and made me feel like part of the firm.
My counselor was really really supportive and I felt that I could talk to her about anything, no matter how silly!
I joined just before busy season so on a daily basis I was very busy. There were a number of late nights but at the end of the day this is part of the job!
I was given the task to complete a number of accounts and felt that I had a good amount of responsibility.
I definitely feel my communication skills greatly increased as well as my teamworking skills.
The Company
I was very rarely in the office, so I can't really give a fair rating but when I was in the office, everyone was extremely friendly and it genuinely felt like an interesting place to work.
I had a good set of clients whilst I was there and there was never a day where I did not have anything to do. In that case I would say that the internship was set up very well!
The company gave me a week of training before I started and I had a lot of on the job coaching.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Job prospects are great as I received a graduate position from them!
The Culture
The other interns often met up regularly after work for a drink or so which was a great way to finish the week.
Based in London the cost of living is fairly dear. Socialising was no more expensive than university in all honesty!
I had the chance to sample the local delights of London and I have to say that I was not disappointed.
I received a number of sports emails whilst I was there for instance: pool events, go karting and at the same time the firm also had a rugby and football team in the London league.
