About You
Was very enjoyable, however due to the fact it was a learning environment sometimes the time was not as enjoyable and it could have been.
It was a very short internship, however I felt very valued by the employees- especially HR.
The main focus seemed to be placed on guidance which was brilliant.
Leant so much in the space of three days. Such a valuable experience.
The Company
Very well structured in terms of giving valuable guidance, however lacked structure in assessing the candidates for the summer internship. I did not feel my skill or attributes were tested enough.
Great environment amongst J P Morgan staff, however very competitive and sometimes false atmosphere among other interns.
Very personal training whilst there, however I feel a longer intern would have been more valuable and a better opportunity.
Gave great knowledge of different areas of the bank and what it would be like to work in the different areas, which was extremely useful. However, I feel sometimes the negatives of working in the job were covered up or hidden, which made me question what it would be like to actually work there.
The spring week was great at improving my understanding of the J P Morgan culture and ethos, which was extremely beneficial.
Everything Else
Not paid and not reimbursed for expenses as I lived within the M25.
Yes, a number of great opportunities for networking.
Outstanding, perfect opportunity to meet current employees.
Yes, there were a number of great experiences from current employees discussed and equally an idea of the sacrifices we may have to make outside of work in order to meet the demands and work such long hours.
100% yes.
