About You
Fully enjoyed it because the organization was perfect. A theoretical approach combined with rotations and team building games made it impossible to be bored or expect more.
Fully valued by the HR people and the other interns. As far as people working in the bank are concerned it definitely depended on the moment (rush time or not) and the team. Globally very positive impression!
Excellent organization with a mentor coaching us before the beginning of the internship. The HR team was here to answer all the questions. During the rotations, the people were globally open to answer all the questions.
Since I am studying in France, I already had the theory behind the economical concepts and had already done a few internships that were longer.
The Company
Excellent structure in the sense that it was always full of activities and opportunities for us to enjoy !
Without saying "fun never stopped" the atmosphere was positive since there was no pressure on the interns telling us "we will take 5 or 10 people"
Definitely lots of investment from JP Morgan in the interns. I really felt I was chosen for the skills I have and that the aim of the people was to train me and invest in me for the future.
Excellent rotation system, rare in other banks !
We had the opportunity to talk to lots of people and get a full insight of what the culture was. Indeed there were formal and informal conversations with employees both recently employed and highly experienced.
Everything Else
Everything was reimbursed (flight, stay, food).
Every lunch, lots of afternoons and rotations !
Opportunities were there, sometimes it was just tough to network or use social events fully out of scare that were being "tested" or "interviewed".
Very little, not much talk about it. I only knew what my mentor was doing but it was a specific case.
Top !
