About You
Great insight week. Got the possibility to meet many interesting people, gain an insight into the business as well as improve my skills.
Very good atmosphere. All employees paid attention to every student and helped to straighten out any issue that could arise. Everybody got the opportunity to show his strong suit.
Everybody was very approachable, keen to answer questions and more than willing to extend a hand.
I think this insight really helped me to strenghen many skills like the ability to communicate or to present due to the networking sessions and the project you worked on in groups during the week.
The Company
Really great organization. Balanced interplay between sessions to improve skills, networking sessions, presentations by J.P. Morgan employees and work on the projects.
In general a very positive and encouraging atmosphere. Everybody was very friendly and it was a pleasure to work with them.
Many intersting and insightful skill sessions were held. E.g. like how to pitch effectiveliy, how to network or how to present. Additionally we received some hints about the assessment centre and the application process.
Very insightful but due to confidentiality issues unfortunately no work shadowing possible.
It was absolutely a great opportunity to gain an insight into the company culture and you really could experience first hand that this culture is lived by the employees and isn't only on paper.
Especially the presentations in generaly and presentations by senior staff were very insightful.
Everything Else
Accomodation as well as flight to and from London were provided.
Lots of networking opportunities during lunches for instance. Employees from many different divisions - junior as well as senior - were present.
Absolutely no barriers of seniority. You could approach anybody and ask them questions.
Many leisure facilities in direct proximity to the office.
Undoubtedly a first-class programme and I believe a great experience. It has provided me with contacts within the industry, made me both strengthen the skills I already had and acquire new ones and helped me understand J.P: Morgan and its culture better.
