About You
Very enjoyable, shame it was only 3 days.
Quite a lot of senior management involved. Also for various tasks had a lot of graduates come down.
There were always multiple people available who could answer your questions.
The Insight made me realise really how little I know about the industry.
The Company
Got a timetable on the morning of the first day that was tightly followed.
Both business reps and other interns were really relaxed and friendly which lead to a great atmosphere.
We had a lot of contact time with business representatives including quite a lot of senior management.
We got to talk to graduates about their job but unfortunately there was no shadowing involved.
Again, people were very friendly and approachable but it could have been better if we actually got some time for shadowing on different desks.
Spoke to representatives from nearly all divisions.
Everything Else
Accommodation was provided.
Organised a networking event at a local bar as well as a formal dinner at the end of the programme.
The dinner was great because you had 3-4 senior business representatives per table.
The schedule was very tight but quite often employees made references to their activities outside of work.
It was a very enjoyable experience and most importantly I feel that I learned a lot from it.
