About You
Really enjoyable, a great opportunity for self development and to meet like minded people.
Ernst and Young took great care of all of us and really valued our input.
E&Y invested lots of time and effort into training us up and developing us as leaders, and this provided great insight into us as individuals and how we work.
The feedback on how I work well from others was greatly helpful in understanding how I work best in a group and alone.
The Company
We only stopped the sleep, the rest was planned perfectly with the right balance between work and social!
The work was mainly about developing your own leadership skills and having a good time, as well as finding out a little about E&Y.
The whole four day event was a personal development programme, rather than the company trying to indoctrinate you with ideas.
There was the opportunity to talk to many employees of EY candidly, both within working time and in a social environment, but the academy was focussed on you as an individual rather than the company.
I got the opportunity to ask questions about EY in a more relaxed atmosphere, so could speak more freely about interests or concerns with the company.
It gave me a lot of insight into the kind of company that E&Y were, and I realised I wanted to work for that style of friendly, welcoming company.
Everything Else
All travel, accommodation, food, drink and everything social was paid for. Just need to bring yourself and the will to lead!
As well as evening socials with the other students on the leadership academy, there was plenty of opportunity to speak to E&Y employees and even a partner dinner to meet EY partners.
Well planned and great fun.
Speaking to employees enlightened me.
I already have recommended to many. Highly enjoyable and extremely rewarding experience.
