The Role
The people I worked with were lovely and made me feel I was a valued member of the team
This was a bit of a rollercoater - some days were manic while other days were a lot slower.
Responsibility grew the further into the placement.
The Company
Lovely, everyone was super friendly whilst remaining professional.
Areas could have been improved, more communication between Managers and Interns over certain issues.
There is no progression from the intern to graduate position and in terms of progression I feel this is a major flaw of the internship scheme, especially when compared to other big companies.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
I'd have love to work for the company as a graduate, however as I said before Talent is not retained from the intern scheme.
The Culture
I rented a room in a 6 bedroom house whilst interning and this cost approx' £500 per calander month.
Milton Keynes is not great for nightlife, this is not a direct reflection of the company though.
Drinks outside work at the local pub were often arranged.
