About You
It was really well organised, hard work, but showed you a true picture of a busy time in the company.
We all got really close, graduate recruiters were taking care of us every day and other people from the firm were always very nice and helpful.
As in real life, some people were really busy, but they were always very willing to help and happy to meet us.
As I had not much idea into Finances, I have learnt a great amount about this field. Moreover some of the activities were asking you about some technologies that could be quite new to you.
The Company
We had a schedule for every day allowing us to do some work in between sessions. Sometimes there were last minute changes to time/place of the event.
It was great, fun atmosphere, people were passionate about what they are doing.
Company invested a lot of time and efford to make sure I understand a new situation I am in. many guest speakers introducing to us the solutions used by a company. I have learnt a lot of useful information over the time of this internship.
As it was only 2 weeks programme we could not feel how it would be working there, however we had many organised work - shadowing sessions, which helped us to see a greater picture of the company. Moreover, it told me where I would like to be placed in the company, however only full time internship may help us fully decide if it's a right place for me.
Only 2 weeks is not too much, however we have met many people and saw how they behave, dress etc. Moreover we had many lectures regarding company cultures, personal brand and how to behave in various situations.
I am decided where I want my career to go, and I want to go back to this company. I am ready to decline other job offers, as this was the place with a great atmosphere, people, other intenrs in a great location (London). Definitely worth checking it out!
Everything Else
Both travel expenses and accomodation was paid for, moreover I was paid for 2 weeks of staying there.
We had designated buddies, project sponsors etc, so there was a lot of opportunities for networking.
many networking events between interns and current employees.
There was an evening when you could meet most of the organised groups in the company.
Definitely, best thing that happened to me so far. Very rewarding and interesting 2 weeks.
