About You
I enjoyed it immensely, met so many new great people, and the tasks we performed over the 3 days were all really exciting and challenging.
The recruitment team and the people organising it were so approachable and friendly. We had a lot of fun. Also, the partners (whom we had a dinner with) were very friendly. It felt like being with friends.
There was always support and help available from the great people at the Talent Academy.
I feel I learned so much during the three days. Especially teamworking skills, confidence, presentation skills and being creative and quick on your feet. This is useful for any aspect of university or working life.
The Company
Very well structured, everything was planned out into the smallest detail and everything went smoothly.
It was intense and demanding, yet it was such a great atmosphere, made loads of friends really quickly and had a great time. In the evening we were in the hotel bar (pwc gave us drink vouchers) and were just talking to each other.
Obviously there were a fair amount of people attending. Nevertheless, we all got the opportunity to develop and get feedback.
Having spoken to several partners and employees at the firm (there were two networking events) really helped to understand what pwc is about and what people experience whilst working there.
Same as above.
I realised that I definitely want to work for this company.
Everything Else
Hotel, food, travel everthing was paid.
Both evenings had networking events, with a dinner with senior partners.
Good, we had Pimms one night and the other night it was very casual. It was interesting to meet new people and I enjoyed myself.
Yes we did, it appears they have a lot of sporting teams and are very sociable in general.
Definitely 100% worth it. Learnt loads and met amazing new people. Also, you get fastracked through to summer internships.
