The Role
I've done about 5 placements now - this was by far the best!
everyone was very appreciative of your work and valued your opinion. Felt like part of the team rather than an intern
Manager was very busy but made sure I was happy and ok with work load/resoonsibiltity
Busy everyday, never bored!
A lot! Enough to challenge you!
Learnt a lot about the industry and general skills like project management which is useful wherever you go!
The Company
Everyone was chatty, sociable, fun! Lot of laughs
HR were good - theres a lot of interns so wasn't very personalised but still made the process easy
Overall company - not that much Division and brand I was working with - a lot!
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Aim to get on the grad scheme - however extremely competitive!
The Culture
Intern committee was started who arranged nights out/ networking events.
Expensive - but London always is!
Hammersmith isn't the best - but so easy to get anywhere central!
Lots of sports teams, choir started up by the company! The work life balance is pretty good at L'Oreal
