About You
The group activities were very real life based, therefore you can't help but get so engaged.
Throughout the insight programme, there's not a single activity where you feel singled out. The programme coordinators were excellent in the way they were very welcoming at the beginning and helpful throughout.
The group exercises were explained very clearly, but the work was done by ourselves. Guidance was there when you asked for it, however, the aim of the exercises were to work in our teams.
As the exercises were very realistic, the programme gave me an insight into what each service line of the company does.
The Company
Very well structure in the sense that the days were busy, yet enjoyable and manageable. There was plenty of time to socialise with other candidates throughout.
The assessments seemed to be the part where everyone was most nervous and hence, wasn't looking forward to. However, activities, group exercises and networking opportunities made it a very enjoyable experience.
The firm invested a lot of money, time and effort for this programme. There were plenty of staff to ensure the programme ran smoothly, and they went through the efforts of getting the senior partners down for networking, which was an excellent opportunity for everyone.
I think the group exercises gave us an insight into what the company does, however, networking with seniors at the company gave us the opportunity to ask questions about what they do.
It was very helpful as a couple of group activities were actually based on the culture and main competencies.
It was very helpful. The final presentation included a section where we apply the skills of each service line therefore the research we did for this, as well as the information we obtained from networking, aided this.
Everything Else
Accommodation, food and drink was paid for and travel expenses were reimbursed,
There was a networking opportunity on all three evenings.
The way the networking was structured was brilliant in the sense that senior partners would keep moving to different tables, enabling us to speak to different partners.
From asking questions, many of the PwC employees are heavily involved of activities outside of work.
Overall, the programme was incredible.
