  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The vacation scheme provided me with such a great insight into the firm. Every day brought with it new exciting activities and new people!

    • I was introduced to everybody in the department

    • My supervisor provide lots of guidance and support. The firm assigned us each a buddy so they were also there to help out with any questions!

    • The skills I have gained will be useful in any career I decide to pursue.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The vacation scheme was extremely well structured with something planned every day - work and socially.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Having two socials with the trainees made for an even more fun week!

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The firm required me and my supervisor to fill in a feedback form at the end of the placement. This allowed me to reflect on what areas I had performed well in as well as getting some feedback on how I could improve.

    • I got the impression that we were treated as if we did work at the firm therefore I got a real insight into the life at Taylor Wessing.

    • With a range of events, form firm-wide drinks to a partner lunch, I feel that I was totally immersed in the firm's culture.

    • Many drinks events as well as a partner lunch made for many networking opportunities.

    • I really enjoyed both trainee social events as well as the partner lunch and firm-wide drinks.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • At the firm-wide drinks one of the charity the firm supports gave a talk so we learnt about some of the pro bono opportunities first hand. Additionally, the firm arranged for us to come along to the weekly legal clinic.
