The Role
It was very challenging at times, but equally very reqarding, knowing you have made a difference.
Colleagues and managers did depend on some of the work I did.
It was a do-it-yourself place. You had to learn things yourself or find out how to one way or another.
I was very rarely bored.
Some taks of high importance were given to me, some of which I did "run the show".
Invaluable experience. Learned a great deal. Worked with a variety of people at various levels. This experience has changed the way I will approach my career.
The Company
It was different at each site, but everyone was almost always working, very busy place... But when people stopped, we really had a laugh.
I was told it was improving year by year. It wasn't really 'set up' - a student was given to a team, and managers gave work accordingly.
I did take some courses, and attended some workshops. They do take care of their staff and want to hear their opinions, which is always good.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
It's made me think more about my career decisions I will take....
The Culture
Plenty of other placement students. And graduates!
Leeds City centre - good!
