  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The support and guidance at Vauxhall is very good - you get given a mentor at the beginning of the year who is there for you as and when you would like to chat. The managers at Vauxhall are also great, I am very lucky to have a very close knit team and therefore have lots of support.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As my role is a new one this year - I have had a variance of how busy I have been. However, there is also the chance to make yourself more busy if you speak out and find places/pieces of work to be done.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A chance at placement really allows you to develop on your communication skills and the general team working skills that will help you in any job for the furture. You also learn a lot more about the business enviroment that is not easy to portray in a classroom environment.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Whilst being on Placement I have moved 3 times - whether it be changing offices or moving desks and every place I have been in has had a great atmosphere and everyone has been really friendly.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The overall set up of placement was good, within the first 2 weeks you are introduced to the placemetn scheme and your role. You are never left in the 'lurch' without any information and you will always know someone who knows the answer!

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
