The Role
Many lifestyle adjustments initially but once I settled in, I loved it.
I felt lucky to work with such a lovely group of people.
Support from start to finish.
Variable depending on what team I worked in.
I felt like my team trusted me with some quite important tasks.
Invaluable experience I would recommend to anyone.
The Company
Whilst the people are fun, I was still working in a Corporate environment so quite formal at times.
My manager and mentor had a set structure for me throughout the year, although I did need to organise myself to reach my personal goals and manage my work load. This was again supported by my team.
The company have placement development days scheduled throughout the year - for personal and professional development. This was a great way to discuss progress with other placement students as well.

Working from home
I feel there may be future opportunities for the company to ask me back temporarily.
The Culture
I went out with my fellow placement students occasionally, but most of them lived in houses together so it wasn't as convenience for me to meet with them outside of my area. There were certianly lots of opportunities to socialise.
As my family live in the area, paying rent and commuting from home worked out quite cheap.
Reading is the closest night out but it wasn't too convenient where I was living.
There are countless clubs and societies you can join. I joined the Waitrose gym and fitness classes which kept be busy 3 out of 5 lunch times a week - I loved it!
