The Role
I have really enjoyed working at We Brand It and I have no doubt that what I have learnt on this placement will be invaluable in the future.
Everyone at We Brand It warm and welcoming. The company is relatively small with only 35 employees which really gives the office a great family atmosphere.
Your Line manager is always seated next to you as you work in pairs to close orders. The rest of the management is sat dotted around the office, they have no private offices, and are therefore always accessible and they are more than happy to help.
I was working with a Business Development Manager who had one of the highest monthly targets so I was kept relatively busy. The other members on your pod may also need a hand from time to time so there is always extra you can be doing.
Within the first month at We Brand it my Business Development Manager had given me my own clients to manager. As well as this I was responsible for looking after all my teams order after they had been placed.
As my real first experience in employment this opportunity has helped my enhance my CV and a long the way I have picked up skills with CRM and excel.
The Company
The atmosphere around We Brand It was great. With so many interns your own age you can really settle in well and enjoy the placement.
Right from the off you are fully integrated in We Brand It life. You start with a short two week induction course then you are onto the sales floor and within three weeks you are making your own Sales. The Managers are more than happy to help with any university work you have to complete.
The 11 months I have spent at We Brand It have been extremely useful to me, I have gained my first real insight into employment and I have picked up so many transferable skills that I can take forward.

The Culture
With 20 other interns there is always a good group of you who are looking to do something whether it is on the weekend or on the evenings.
Being down south the prices are always going to get more expensive but as long as you are open to ideas and new areas there is plenty you can do on a budget.
Maidenhead itself has a couple of places to go such as the Sports Bar, Volition and the legendary Smokey Joes as well as the vast number of local pubs but there is also Windsor, reading, oxford and even London on your doorstep.
We play in a competitive league on Wednesdays and we have a knock around on Tuesday. There is a very good local rugby club and plenty of pubs to spend the weekend in!
