About You
The day was fantastic, the people were friendly and the atmosphere was surprisingly relaxed.
The mentors were inclusive and the company really made an effort.
The mentors were approachable, friendly and encouraged you to excel, very welcoming.
The skills you developed are applicable to any job and if you want to pursue a career in Ernst and Young, they are even more fantastic.
The Company
Plenty of coffee and tea breaks with ample food, to keep you fueled throughout the day. It was nicely broken up into parts, the day went by very quickly.
From music playing in the background as you completed tasks to the warm nature of all the people running the day, it really was an overall brilliant day. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
It was clear that they had spent a lot of time thinking of ways in which they could aid our personal development, and this was almost definitely achieved.
Being able to speak with current students on an industrial placement, it was clear that working for Ernst and Young would be both rewarding and enjoyable.
The culture is one which is unusual for big and influential firms. friendly and warm.
Very helpful, discovered more about what Ernst and Young can offer.
Everything Else
They reimburse any expense you have.
Every group had a mentor who worked at the firm, and the group was led by employees.
Met some really interesting people!
Plenty of things to do on a large scale, including hosting charity events.
Definitely worth it!
