    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I had a fantastic time, and it really was an 'insight' into the industry.

    • People were always looking out for me and making sure I knew what I was doing and where I was supposed to be going.

    • Everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful, always offering suport via email should I need it.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I learnt a lot during my Spring Week, but most of it isn't relevant for my degree course. Beyond that however, I believe it will be very useful.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Fantastic program, and everything went on schedule almost to the minute. A couple of my rotations were cut quite short but that was more to do with how busy the person I was shadowing was - nothing can be done about this really!

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Great. Everyone was super friendly and there was no sense of competitiveness and disingenuity between others on the program.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Invested a huge amount. That fits in with the culture of JP Morgan. Although it was only a week, everything was done to make sure I got the most out of it.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • I think an internship would give a better idea of this, but a week gave me a fantastic view..

    • It was so interesting to see what goes on inside the walls of JP Morgan, and I'd never before experienced something like this. In that sense, it was very helpful.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • For train travel.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Several networking opportunities were presnted to us over the week.

    • Sometimes a little awkward but that's the nature of these things.

    • Not really, no. Sleeping I guess.
