About You
The Talent Academy was a great opportunity to meet people with similar interests and find out more about PwC.
We were always encouraged to ask any questions that we had and to always try to meet as many people as possible, both from PwC and fellow Academy attendees.
It was very easy to ask for help if necessary.
We kept a record of how we had demonstrated PwC competencies and this will be very useful during interviews.
The Company
We were given a very clear timetable, however, it may have been nicer to have had a little bit more free time as the three day programme was very busy.
Everyone was very enthusiastic and the PwC staff who organised the event were very keen for us to succeed.
We were given lots of advice on how to succeed in interviews and the opportunity to present to a panel was very useful.
We had the opportunity to speak to employees from different areas of the firm so we were able to develop an understanding of the day to day lives in these different areas.
We met people from all levels of the firm and being able to see how they interact with each other definitely helped us to understand the company culture.
Everything Else
We were reimbursed for our expenses.
We had networking drinks on the first night and then a networking dinner on the second night so there were plenty of opportunities to meet employees from all the different service lines.
They were very easy to get involved with and all the PwC employees were more than happy to take the time to talk with us, both at drinks and dinner.
This is something I would have liked to have found out more about.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend as it has helped me decided on my future career path.
