The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement but found it very challenging at times
I have worked in a really great team this year
Management supported me the whole way through with regular one to ones and help when I needed it
I was always very busy which was hard at times but also kept things fast moving and never boring!
I was given quite a lot of responsibility- but not so much that i ever felt too out of my depth
Absolutely invaluable
The Company
A lot different to how I expected an office environment- in a good way. Lots of joking around and quite loud with big personalities.
There is a team dedicated to the graduate and undergraduate programmes which is run very well
I was sent on many training courses for both technical skills and personal development
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Competitive but looking quite good as they bring people back quite a lot.
The Culture
I had a social year as i lived with 6 other placement students- they put you all in contact via email to organise living arrangements
Living costs quite expensive as its hertfordshire area but we managed to get a good rent deal
Nightlife was quite good- close to london if you want to foot taxi fayres
there are opportunities but im guilty of not getting that involved- find yourself very tired from the job
