The Role
I have extremley enjoyed my placement with Tesco the responsibility has been huge and I have gained loads of experience from working for such a massive company
The people a tesco are so welcoming and freindly due to the size of the business many people join new teams all the time so welcoming new members to the team is common
I was given fantastic support, any help/mentoring/advise I needed and my manager and managers manager were always willing to help
I have been extremly busy on a day to day basis however I prefer to work at a high pace so I have enjoyed this thoroughly
I was running the whole of the DIY department in relation to stock and forecasts and was the go to person for any information on these matters
The experience's and general life skills from doing this placement have given me a fantastic grounding to go on finish my degree and pursue my career
The Company
Perfect balance between professionalism and light hearted fun
It was organised well however I felt at the start especially they wernt ready for us as none of the systems or computers were set up correctly for us
Anything I wanted to do or go on I was given permission to go ahead with, I attended loads of training and days out to visit suppliers etc

I have been asked to come back and have many contacts to do so however I have not had anything in writing as of yet
The Culture
There were many oppurtunites to meet up such as lunches and sessions to discuss how we were all doing
Never really went out in the area I worked in, was always London if anywhere
