    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed my placement and learnt alot, I am staying at Tesco for an additional month over the summer.

    • Very valued by my imediate team.

    • manager sits next to me and is very Approachable

    • Very busy often work over time, stay late and start early. workload is stressful.

    • straight into the deep end.

    • I have learnt alot over the past few year and will be able to use these for my final year and future job

    • Some tenison between teams

    • Placement was like a job role, rather than a structured placement scheme. I feel the Job was effictive yet not many catch up with HR regarding the placmement

    • My manager invested her time. i also attended in house training courses; yet not as much as other placement students in different companies

    • I don't no if I will be offered a future pl;ace. i have been offered an extended contract however

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Next to nothing outside of work

    • Expensive - London prices also not many houses to rent offered furnishings therefore needed to purchase these.

    • WGC has NO night life. for nightlife you must go to London
