The Role
Very dynamic work environment with the opportunity for many different opportunities, including rotations.
I felt as respected as someone who worked here full time.
I felt very supported by my superiors. Even if my team-lead wasn't around I knew there were other people to go to.
I was incredibly busy, particularly around the time of the annual Applications Engineering projects.
I was given a very good amount of responsibility. It was akin to most graduates in that I was allowed to co-teach customer courses, run hands-on events and visit with customers.
Other than a vast amount of technical skills, I also gained soft skills such as presentation and writing skills.
The Company
The youthful environment of the office made it feel like I was still at university. Along with events such as employee appreciation week, it was a very exciting atmosphere.
The intern program was well thought out, with plans throughout the year.
The company paid for all of my training which included many courses as well as presentation skills training.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Will happily work for the company as a graduate.
The Culture
My colleagues were my friends during this year and we went out regularly.
The cost of living was quite high but this didn't make socialising a challenge.
The town that the company is based in is quite small so the nightlife was limited. It was more about being with people than being seen at the best places.
In addition to the subsidized gym, events like the scavenger hunt etc meant that there was enough time for out of work activities.
