The Role
Long hours but valued experience, able to transfer skills from uni learning
Welcomed and helped to fit in, a lot of change in personnel disrupted some relationships. Given autonomy to decide if you wish to rent to someone as long as they meet the criteria.
Area manager encouraged progression and very helpful with development. Hard to comment on management as changed a few times. Support always offered, although fitting the time in was a struggle.
First 6 months branch went through a lot of changes and transition, so worked 50-60 hours every week which was very draining on personal life.
Allowed to counter manage the office, in charge of 200+ cars and logistics.
Applied marketing, looking after accounts, worked a lot of my sales for future roles, and wealths of experience to relate on for university. Demonstrated how transfreable the skills at university are into working life.
