The Role
I felt I was given an appropriate amount of responsibility and met with appropriately difficult challanges. However I would've perhaps liked more room for creativity.
My supervisor was very helpful and I was assigned a 'buddy' who was a previous undergraduate, he helped me with all sorts of problems but also took a step back after I'd been properly initialised
Generally I was busy most of the day. I was assigned project after project on my placement so I almost always had work to do and whilst I had deadlines to meet I felt they were reasonable deadlines and that I wasn't being overworked.
I felt I was given an appropriate amount of responsibility in that I was given little when I started the placement but that gradually and appropriately increased.
I feel that my final year at uni will now be a lot easier and that I will be able to achieve I higher grade now because of the placement
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was friendly but rather dull. Throw a paper airplane for once guys!
The transition in to the placement from uni flowed quite well, I was able to arrange a lift in to work for the first month of the placement and all of the equipment I needed for my Job was ready for me.
I felt I was given appropriate time and resources to learn more about, and become familiar with the technologies required. Although the area wasn't always of interest to myself.

Company Parties/Events
Whilst the companys graduate scheme is appealing I intend to move abbroad after grauduating so I won't be coming been.
The Culture
There were 3 other undergraduates who I lunched with every so often.
I commuted from a residence next to the university campus so it was like being a student.
I commuted from a residence next to the university campus so it was like being a student. The nightlife in the area of the office was non-existant.
There were frequent email invitations to events, the majority of which were fundrasing events for charity.
