The Role
The experience was quite enjoyable from learning about engineering in business to working as a team.
I have been trained in a professional manner and been given real life jobs which made me feel much valued for team and company.
My manager is quite approachable and helpful. Quarterly reviews and one to one monthly sessions with manager helps me find out my progress and i can also raise any concern I have which is quite helpful.
At the beginning of the placement, I was quite busy receiving training to fulfill my job requirements which lead to doing quality jobs for different projects which kept me quite busy.
The given responsibilities were quite challenging and helped me learn many valuable skills which will be very helpful in future.
Not only the technical skills but skills like team work and communication skills will be greatly helpful in future.
The Company
The general atmosphere in office is very friendly and professional.
The whole placement was organised to develop student's skills to improve his/her job responsibilities. It also gave me the opportunity to improve my presentation skill and professionalism. Working in a fast paced environment helped me improve communication and team working skills.
My whole team and manager planned my training and development plan since the start to suit my university requirements, job needs and personal development.

High performing placement students get offer bursary and graduate position which keeps student motivated through out the year to perform well.
The Culture
We all placement students from different department were in regular touch with each other through out the year. Playing games like football, cricket every week to Imagineering sessions helped us grow as a team.
I am studying at Northumbria University up North in Newcastle so I found Daventry a bit expensive but student placementpay was good enough pay all your rents and socialize.
Daventry is a small town so night life isn't so good but places like Rugby, London and Northampton are not so far to have a good weekend.
I was heavily involved in games like Football to Cricket with team members to Imagineering.
