The Role
During my time at RBC I always felt apart of a family that cared for it's employees.
Even though I was 18 at the time, I always felt valued and my eagerness to learn was always supported by my managers and colleagues.
My managers were supportive and gave me all the guidance I needed.
The work load was pretty slow at time, however, when there wasn't work to do I was able to learn more about the company so my work was quite consistent given the odd slow day.
I was given enough responsibility to feel needed. Having to draft a report every morning which RBC employees in New York and Australia had to read was a big responsibility and improved my accuracy and awareness of the components that make CDS trades work.
I plan on going into finance after i leave university the skills and information I learned the past summer with be priceless when it comes to future interviews and job applications.
The Company
The fun hasnt stopped to this day. I'm still in contact with my co-workers.
Lata Mistry deserves a knighthood. She organised everything with such precision and was always kind and warm hearted to myself and the other interns.
I was interested fromt the moment i read the job description
Company Parties/Events
