The Role
I really enjoyed . It was a very daunting when I first started as everything was new but the more I got involved in tasks and interacted with my team . I began to really enjoy it and I have met some amazing people .
They treated me like family . I felt like part of the team and not just a placement student .
My manager was incredibly supportive. If I had a question or problem about a task I needed to get done, he was always willing to help or delegate someone within the team to help me.
Honestly, I wasn't busy every single day however I used it as an opportunity to request for more work or to improve my skills via the e-learning website Xerox provided .
There is definitely real responsibly . Your not just there to sit and look pretty. For example I looked after partners and helped them with issues they had.
The skills I have gained ,I will use for the rest of my life . I will be constantly improving them. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity .
The Company
It was always exciting . The people in my team made my experience memorable . Great conversations and reflective counsel.
Very very very organised . I was so impressed with the way my assessment day went up until the interview. Xerox made me feel very comfortable so i wasn't too nervous .
I believe they invested a lot. I have skills I never possessed before this opportunity and now I walk away having enough knowledge of what the real world is like. Priceless!

Positively, there will be future opportunities to work with Xerox again.
The Culture
Definitely! They recruit a good deal of students for placements which makes the process n being on a placement so much easier. You get to network with students from different parts of the country. Additionally team socials are encouraged. This was you get to know your team members better.
It wasn't too bad. Fairly affordable .
Excellent actually. Brunel University isn’t too far from the location and their night life is known to be very entertaining.
