The Role
Throughly enjoyed it, very intersting work, always learning new things and great people.
You are treated like a normal netry level employee, valued but they are also aware you dont know very much so they explain everything thoroughly and give you training and support.
Had monthly meetings with my supervisor where I could bring up any concerns. He was also easy to go and speak to about any questions or problems.
Work load fluctuated with demand from the customer but my supervisor also made sure that I had enough work and fropm the start made it clear that if we feel under pressure from too much work then the work load is wrong so to just say as we shouldnt suffer in silence.
I got given regular tasks to have ownership of over the year and then a few one off requests I was still supervised but was given free rein on it to plan and carry out the analysis as I wanted.
I have definately learned valuable computer skills to aid me in finding a job after I finish my degree such as excel skills, access skills, I have learnt VBA and have gained exposure to other computer tools.
The Company
It was a friendly atmosphere.
Well organised, no issues.
I went on various off site visits to customers and operational sites for my personal development.

Working from home
Having had a years experience with them gives me a brilliant chance of getting a job with them if the opportunity comes up when I'm looking for a job but they unfortunately they dont do a graduate scheme in the Operational Analysis department and cant guarantee there will be jobs avlaiable when you finish your degree.
The Culture
Not a lot of social activities outside of work during my 12 months with them.
Reasonably cheap.
Nothing in the area around work but it is travelling distance to Portsmouth and Southampton which have a good nightlife.
Not a lot went on outside of work.
