    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • This was one of the best aspects of the job. Although some of the work can be tedious, PwC make you feel welcome straight away.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The guidance is there if you need it, but they do not patronize you and feed you everything you need to know. You learn and improve every day.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • 3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was much busier than I thought I'd be! We were set internal projects so if there were times when there was no work to be done for the company, there was something to be working on.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It certainly helped with my final year at uni. A lot of the stuff you learnt can be applied in a practical sense to the theory you learn at uni. It was also an excellent insight into the auditing industry.
