The Role
Very interested and enjoyable work!
I wasn't treated like a placement student, but as an actual employee and had good input in meetings, etc.
Managers always more than happy to help out and regular performance reviews to ensure everything is going well.
Kept busy most of the time and never a lack of work to be getting on with.
The Company
Everyone was friendly and there was rarely a dull moment.
The placement was split between 2 departments with 6 month in each. The 2nd department was a lot more organised than the first. The scheme as a whole was very well organised with regular training and out of office events, as well as regular reviews and social events.
As an IET accredited scheme, there was a big push on personal development. The company invested a lot in us through training, mentoring and 1-to-1 performance reviews.
